Chris’ Camp - Spearfish SD

THURSDAY – After getting our RV out of the repair shop  we spent the night at Chris’ Camp in Spearfish SD. This park is family owned by Bryce and Lanna, they were extremely friendly and helpful, and I just want to acknowledge how kind they were to us during our breakdown.  image

We had reservations for 3 nights and when we called to say we had to cancel the 1st night and didn’t know about the remainder 2 nights that we had broken down, Lanna said to take care of ourselves and not worry about anything, just keep her posted.  When we finally got there Thursday night she only charged us for the 1 night and was happy we were back on the road.   I know that many other places would have charged us for the additional 2 nights because we had not given them the required cancellation notice.

Chris’ Camp is nothing fancy but very clean and has all of the amenities needed and lots of grass and green trees. They take RV, trailers and tents.  IF you are ever in the area and need a park make sure you check them out.

FRIDAY – We left Spearfish SD around 10:00 and traveled down Hwy 85 and 385 through Deadwood, Hill City to Custer SD where we will spend the next 5 days at Wheels West RV Park, visiting all of the sites.

That was our day – thanks for following along!
