1880 Train Ride

We would like to thank our newest follower “KAREN” thanks for following along with our travels.

The day started with having coffee sitting outside under a beautiful a blue sky and relaxing. Then a late breakfast of homemade biscuits and gravy at the campgrounds cafe which were excellent.

We had tickets for 3:45 to ride the 1880 Train through the Black Hills, roundtrip from Hill City to Keystone. We went a little early and walked around the Hill City, we managed to find a couple items to purchase and also stopped at the DQ to have a “Blizzard” before boarding the train, neither Wayne or I had had one before, sure was good.

As the train was pulling out of the station there was a hold up including a shootout, all the kids loved it. It was a fun 2 hour ride and we got to see some beautiful country.

After we returned to the RV it was time to watch the Giants and Nascar.

That was our day – thanks for following along!
