Hearst Castle

We both have lived in California all of our lives and neither of us had been to Hearst Castle. We reserved our tour tickets online, we found doggie day care for SoSo, and on Wednesday we took the 1 hour drive from Paso Robles to San Simeon.

Once we arrived at the visitor's center we were put on a bus and driven 5 miles up the mountain to the Castle. We were both amazed at how large and grandeur the grounds and buildings were. The Castle was the main living quarters, 3 guest houses, the massive outdoor pool with statues , patio's all around, and statues through out the gardens, and a massive indoor pool.
