Why In The World

When we told our friends we were coming to Bakersfield all of their comments were the same "Why in the world would you go to Bakersfield" especially for a week. Well, there are two reasons.

1) We are attending the Workhorse Chassis Motorhome Rally which starts on Monday

2) The High School State Wrestling Championships were being held here and Rancho Cotati (our local high school) had one wrestler that qualified for the state tournament and the high school sports person Wayne is we had to come a few days early so he could help support/cheer on Bud Guinn. Bud won 2 matches and lost 2 so unfortunatly he is out of the tournament but he gave it his best try and we applaud him for that.

I checked out two scrapbooking stores and worked on our blog while Wayne was at wrestling

Today has been a lazy day, Wayne had to clean the bug juice off of the front windshield then we walked around and met some of the other RVers that will be attending the Rally and we made a trip to Camping World which just opened up a block away.
